That sounds amazing.  Is that a real thing or did you invent it?

I've got three different varieties of commercial pear ciders in my fridge right now... and I've made malted hard lemonade before. I'm going with "it's a real thing."

I had friends over for dinner, last week...they brought Radlers!

Fox Barrel makes some good stuff. I highly recommend the Rhubarb/Elderberry, Ginger/Blackcurrant, and Blackberry variants.

not in the US.  Everywhere else, yeah.

I've heard of Radlers, but never tried it. I have tried Leinenkugel's Summer Shandy and I like it.

I think my first hard pear cider was ACE, and my first hard apple cider was Strongbow.

I like ciders, and I like beers. And I do occasionally mix a porter or a stout with a cider...

It's delicious...bright and fruity and not at all too hoppy for someone like me who's not a beer lover.

Leinies! SOOOO delicious. Their berry weiss is SO GOOD. That's my go-to beer when I don't know what else to get.

Can't do Berry Weiss. Too much raspberryish flavor.

Raspberry triggers my gag reflex. I was asthmatic as a child, and every goddamned cough syrup they gave me reeked of fake raspberry flavor. I can't even smell the stuff without wanting to barf.

I like blackberry.
