The first picture in my portfolio (my avatar) is from my most recent shoot. I wanted something that would stand out from the rest of my work. I know that like the rest of my photos, I have zero emotion. So aside from that... does anyone have any tips? Does it work in my portfolio? Is it a style that I should do more of? Etc? Nov 07 12 11:01 pm Link You give more expression when you're doing alt work it seems... This image does inspire in the sense that, I would say venture into a flapper look, you have the face for it... and that sass belongs to it as well. Flappers were sassy dames. You're lovely, and I know you already disregarded the facial thing already... but... make rawr faces, and get out of the concept of being pretty. You're already pretty... rock my world with emotion... and damnit, show me your ugly beast... because that's when it gets really sexy. Nov 07 12 11:40 pm Link Exterminate wrote: Thank you. A big hangup of mine has been showing my teeth because they have honestly been absolutely terrible. But I am in the middle of a very lengthy process to remedy this situation and definitely hope to be able to show a greater range of emotion (and definitely some rawr then) once that is done. Thank you for the insight. I appreciate it. ^_^ Nov 08 12 12:12 am Link Nov 08 12 06:18 am Link Nov 08 12 03:59 pm Link It's not a very flattering photo or style and completely runs opposite of what you normally shoot. Your photos have quite a weight fluctuation as well with this pic being on the higher end. FYI Nov 09 12 11:19 pm Link I know that like the rest of my photos, I have zero emotion. - Get the same coments ALL the time on my port... Nov 10 12 06:55 am Link Your facial expression does only so much.. Work on the Expression coming from your eyes. They can give so much.. and you don't need surgery to correct that.. only practice Nov 10 12 07:03 am Link Brightonn wrote: This is my favorite too - you have a lovely oval face and fantastic figure w/tiny waist but you remind me a bit of Drew Barrymore - her face sometimes can look a bit round from the front which gives the impression she is heavier. So the avatar pic is not as flattering as the one shown above. Maybe you can do alternative work that is more fashion-oriented like the pic above vs. just punk stuff w/tatoos to round out your portfolio. Nov 10 12 04:09 pm Link |
