Hey guys! Before Sandy came in and bulldozed all our nicely colored trees I got to shoot an Aerial silk dancer. She wasnt a model but I think she took my throwing her into one of my uncomfy outfits and 5lbs of glitter very well lol But I dont know if they realy stand out as something worth putting in my portfolio . Here are a few I rather liked... do you think i should put 2 together and replace an image in my port? If so, which one gets voted off the island as it were?

LOVE.

Especially 1,2 & 3.

If I had to vote one off, it would be 4.

Thank you for the input!! Do you have a suggestion on which image in my preexisting portfolio you would replace with one of these?

All 5 images are just fine for me...each with their own pose and beauty.
Well shot.

Voted off= #3 for me.
Image #2 takes honors.

I like 3 and 4 but I wouldn't replace anything that's in your port currently...

Think number 4 is the keeper of this set

Photo 1
Just by the nature of being seated on the ring it is deforming her
[Could have put just one hip on ring then photographed her from her other side, which would also place hips on angle to camera]

Photo 2
Blown out sky is too distracting

Photo 3
Extend the legs, show them as long and beautiful

Photo 4
Like the apparent motion in silk
Great profile image

Photo 5
The missing top of hand
Extend the legs

Wish you well

The 4th one is the strongest of the set.

The first could have been drop-dead spectacular with a bit more background blur. Also, your wing needs a bit more editing...

That's a brutal call. Your portfolio is fairly breathtaking from start to finish.

If I had to choose one, it would be:

It's dark and the colors are muted. It's the least dramatic or dreamlike image in the bunch.

While the shots of the silk aerialist are subdued, the first and third images' light have a dreamlike, mystical glow. The first image is my favorite, by far.

EDIT: Just noticed the model's right wing (leftmost in the pic) needs to be fixed. It's in front of her right shoulder, whereas the other wing is behind the shoulder, as if attached on her back.
