mac studio sculpt
would just like some feedback from muas who use mac studio sculpt in their kit? also any recommendations for 5 colours to buy first would be fab! By only setting your sights on just one brand you really fail to miss the gems that may walk by. I say try like MUFE HD foundations I only use 4 in my kit and have been able to create any tone by mixing them. another one I love is the RCMA shinto palate , amazing finish in print and looks great on TV/Film plus the palate fits solo nicely in my kit without taking up much room. Nov 12 12 04:25 pm Link I don't really recommend it for a natural days light shoot but an evening shoot yes, be very careful with the colour you choose the warm colours are very orange based so just stick the the yellow and red undertones instead of an orange one. Other then that it is a brilliant foundation but I found that it was wavy on the skin. But the skin looked flawless! The finish is actually lovely (and i was sceptical as im not a fan of their liquid foundations) and it works well on normal to dry skin, but be warned it does have SPF in it which limits it's usefulness. I have been looking into studio sculpt and personally I love the finish and how it sits on the skin. I wanted to use this for more of my freelance clients, not photoshoots and bridal  Thanks everyone for your input! Studio sculpt is actually a gel based foundation and it works to help smooth in fine lines and texture. I love it on the more mature skin. I don't personally have any sculpt in my freelance kit because it doesn't work well on everyone. It has a bit of a wet finish and will move around when touched if not set with a powder or a translucent powder. for you kit, I would get face and body in C2, C4 and C6 and N1, N5, N9. Face and body is perfect for the HD camera but it is a rather sheer foundation so you may want to also purchase some Studio fix Fluid for your kit. Just don't use studio fix powder on any clients where pictures will be taken....there is talc in the powder and the face will appear much 'whiter' in the pics. Use a mineral powder. hope this helps! You will most likely use nw20 and nc30 the most.... Jan 05 13 02:00 pm Link Face and body separates very quickly and is very thin and very shiny. Studio fix oxidizes in an unpleasant way. I like the MAC mineralize cream, and having tried the sculpt concealers I'd be interested in trying the sculpt foundation line - setting is a standard practice for me as so many foundations are better for it. If I were you, I'd go into the store and look at the foundations on skin. I have never found anyone who had a red or pink undertone, and in my mind this is a misconception. We all have red due to the bloodflow, but pigmentation in our skin is from melanin - paler people have less so have more translucency revealing the colour of the connective tissues and the blood. So with that in mind I'd steer clear of the 'warm' tones and stick with neutral and cool. Then pick lightest and darkest, and several useful shades through the range, although i do find that through no particular selection, models and actresses I primarily find in my chair are lighter rather than darker. I wanted to try Match Master because of the neural undertone of the foundations, but I think because it is water best it doesnt provided the best coverage.
