Which do you enjoy more? For singing, join a band, write some songs, find your style, and pay a recording engineer/producer to help you make a solid demo. To make it in the music industry you need to perform constantly. Play lots and lots of shows, build a fan base, have solid professional recordings, and maybe someone will notice you. Don't wait around for a record label though, find ways to make money doing it on your own. There are almost no shortcuts in music unless you're independently wealthy or exceedingly talented. For modeling, you need to keep building your portfolio. It's basically the same story as music, just different people.
