I would really like some constructive feedback on this retouch and I also have a quick question...
How do I reduce the appearance of fine facial hair particular around the mouth on female models?  lots of pixel level dodge and burn?
I haven't found any resources on methods for removing the downy like hair and was wondering if anyone had suggestions?

Can you post the before/after? Easier to see what's been done that way smile

As is, my eye was immediately drawn to the blown out area under her eye. That, combined with the dark skin next to it seems like an oversight. That's the biggest thing that stands out to me.

As for small hairs, I don't do a lot of pixel level dodging and burning to begin with so I don't use it for fixing that, I usually go zoomed in quite a bit and clone them out.

I agree with the critique. Other than that, I am highly impressed. I even listed it smile

I wouldn't get rid of that completely as this give a bit of shape to that area.

Regarding the baby hair around lips, can't really see it but split heal will definitely help there.

Great job tho!!

+1

Also, you need to smooth out the neck creases a bit - leaving the one that forms the edge.

Considering the model's bone structure and the strip light as fill.. it doesn't look wrong to me, at least not that much. I'd bring out the shine on the model's chin a bit.

As for the hairs - just even them out with cloning/healing, they're supposed to be there and removing them completely would not only cause too much of a problem but the result won't be so good. Just my opinion. Otherwise - really good job!
