Exporting from Lightroom
Hi, I hope I dont sound like a dummy but is there any way to export from LR without it compressing to a jpeg? I just downloaded it today, edted the raw in LR, exported to a folder and opened in PS. But it compressed to a jpeg and I dont want to do that... Nov 26 12 09:02 pm Link yes, there should be a drop down menu in the export menu that gives you options like - original, jpeg, psd... etc - In Export menu there is: Export Location File Naming File Settings Nov 26 12 09:07 pm Link Deirdre Holmes wrote: Nov 26 12 09:09 pm Link DONT export it. If you open the RAW in LR you can go right from LR to PS using the edit in photoshop command. right click on the image in the develop module and mouse down to EDIT IN and you can see the command from there. LR3; this should be available in LR 4 also. It will open in PS and from there you can save as a photoshop file and close and from there that NEW PS file will show up in LR next to the original raw file. As long as you load both the raw and jpegs as ONE into LR to begin with or at least just the raw you should be fine. Nov 26 12 09:19 pm Link Clarence Zimmerman wrote: Cmd-E will open a LR file in PS.
