Anyone using the Philips Hue bulbs?
How good are these bulbs for photography? Does anyone have an experience to share or images to post from using them? Philips Hue www.meethue.com/en-US Dec 03 12 01:18 pm Link i'm sure they're great for photography... if you don't care about colour accuracy or having to use dozens of really expensive bulbs to get a decent amount of light. $60 for an 8.5 watt bulb. Dec 03 12 02:16 pm Link i purchased them. i plan to experiment them in my photography. Feb 11 13 10:46 pm Link LED bulbs are almost twice the output per watt as CFL so each of the 8.5 watt LED's will put out about the same amount of light as a 13 or 15 watt CFL or a 60 watt incandescent. That is where the comparison is. The wireless dimming and color change is gimmicky. Feb 13 13 06:37 pm Link Michael Bots wrote: I love the gimmick side of it. That's the only reason I would get them - and I'm seriously thinking about it. Feb 13 13 06:46 pm Link |
