I see a trend in the bags I personally like, they carry a lot of stuff, and are generally in the hobo style.

this was taken from my FB true story I just didn't feel like retyping everything. This was the closest I got to fullfilling my boot dreams this year:
"Bought some sick shoes at the Chandler mall, they had some thigh high boots that I wanted. Sadly the largest they had was a nine which didn't fit my big foot. Then.... I got them at a store called Von Maur.  I think it's only really in the state of Iowa and Illinois, although there may be a few more scattered around.

It's the 'high end' store around here, has the name brands other stores don't have. 

And nope, not waiting for Christmas.  I've already worn them out once, and will probably wear them again tomorrow night.

I should note that the Perimenter & Northpoint are MONEY malls (Louis Vuitton, D&G, etc), very high end (as well as the mall staples like A&F and Macy's), so they have a lot of stores that are otherwise not common in GA.

Von Maur isn't super high end, just high end for where I live.  They carry Coach purses, Kate Spade purses, etc.  We don't have stand alone stores for the end high retailers like that, so if you're looking for something that is a more 'posh' brand, then Von Maur is your best bet.

Otherwise, our mall is all Hollister, Charlotte Russe, JcPenneys, and Sears.  LOL  Not many options at all.

Oh I know, I was just explaining that the one-off mid-end shop from another part of the country might decide more often than not to open their one store in GA, in a highly populated mall that gets a lot more traffic from rich suburbanites rather than the middle class. Perimeter/Northpointe have all the standard sears/jcp/hollister stores but just also have the high brow designer stores as well.

The mall closest to me is huge, but just has the standard stores, no designers. Except Coach. And who really counts Coach as designer anymore?

Yeah, I totally see what you're saying.  It makes sense in a way, and then in another way it doesn't make sense.  Because why would someone hit up Von Maur and see the selection of 5 Kate Spade purses when they could go to the Kate Spade stand alone shop and see all of their options.

In the QC, it's the only choice, so they bring in lots of clientele.  So I could see it working in a high end store, but only as a "quick one stop shop" when you want to look at shoes, and purses, and dresses.  Otherwise, if you want more choices for a purse, you'd just get to stand alone store...ya know?
