So due to childhood horror stories of having to sit on the floor of Parisians/Belk for hours every weekend with a library book (in ye olde, there were no ereaders) whilst my mother eye raped/window shopped Dooney & Burke purses, I have a longheld hatred of handbags in general.

Historically, I've been a two hands and a coat pocket kind of girl and aside from a brief stint in the sixth grade when those hideous sequin hobo sacks were the trend, I've never used a shoulder bag. But with the addition of car keys and (sometimes) a tablet, two hands no longer cut the mustard SADNESS. So for the past two weeks or so I've been using someone else's old LV bag that I absolutely loathe beyond all reason (it's an old school speedy model with NO interior pockets, so everything just piles on top and the tablet is a NIGHTMARE to bring with me). And today I finally broke and bought the handbag from ModCloth that I've been admiring for a while, since I got a $15 off coupon.


It's a Melie Bianco bag and it's so preeeeetty. I'm not 100% on the color, but MC has free return shipping and a killer return policy, so I'm ripe for the test drive
