The opinion was "unnatural and plastic", so I want to know what do you think about this retouched photo.

Thanks for your time!

I don't necessarily think it looks "plastic" (maybe a bit on the forehead though)

However, for that kind of image, which is more or less what you might find in a catalog, it is a tiny bit "over done".

I like the work though, I just think it's about knowing what your target end product is.

Was an attempt for an editorial... maybe is "over done" for this.

It looks plastic to me also as if a filter was applied. I like the original better. Editorial aren't overdone if you look around unless the photographer wants it that way but usually from what I have seen/experienced it isn't the case.

The face has an unnatural plasticy look, yes.  I do like the contrast adjustment and background lightening though.  The hair I liked better on the original.

I think the face was moving in the right direction, moles, under-eye lines, forehead lines, etc.  I just think it went too far with the face retouching.

I was given a reference http://i49.tinypic.com/2m6jpjb.jpg ... so I tried it ... I know that I don't made a good job. My mistake.

Thanks for your help!

Some people like that look, I personally would like to see something in between the two of them. Also the eyes are very dark.

I like to keep men a little rougher, people kind of expect it.
