When I try a modest eye adjustment in Elements Nine it goes all wonky and explodes into a major enlargement. How come I cannot get a more subtle enlargement?

Check if you use the correct tool(forward warp), maybe are taking the bloat tool or other.

I have CS2 and am not sure if it's the same as Elements 9, but you can also adjust the settings (brush pressure, brush density, brush rate, etc.) for subtler liquify effects.

I don't know why you're trying to use liquify for enlargements.  Mostly it's for moving pixels around, like flattening a stomach.

Sorry I was not clear on this. It has to do with subtle enlargement in Liquify of model's smaller eye using the bloat tool. It was a feature I used in PS but I find in Elements the eye pops up way to big. I will try some of the adjustments folks suggested, but have not had much luck with this in the past ... it appears to be a shortcoming of Elements...thanks all...W
