I got a new job.

Got a new laptop.

Picking up my new car in the morning.

Now, I'm going to work on saving so I can move into a place with a big-ass kitchen, with a dishwasher.

Everything's so new. *head 'splodes*

I'm just junking the old one. It's at 190,000 miles, on the original clutch. Leaky head gasket. Brakes shot. Electrical system problem. I'm amazed that SOMEHOW i got it through inspection last summer. It will never pass again.

Totally understand that!  I've got a great little truck.  I wouldn't mind having a car, too, but I can't afford both, and not having a car payment is epic.  And a truck can haul things...LOL.

I'm with Damon on this, Shiva.  A metal dealer or junk yard will usually pay a couple hundred dollars, just for the parts or metal.

I still like that you enjoy cognac.

That said, people drink beer and vodka mixed drinks out of the red dixie cup, not cognac!  you need a snifter!

That is what I did with my last car.  They paid me around $200 for it.  But they didn't scrap it, they tried to sell it to someone else

(it really only needed the water pump changed)

then use that $200 to put like 1 rim on your new car.

The weird thing is, even after I paid it off completely, I never received a title for it. The loan changed hands three times during the time I was paying for it. Went through 3 different banks; that was at the epic peak of financial failure horribleness. I even paid payments that just got lost during those years. When I finally paid that bitch off, I just forgot about it. The other day I realized I never received a proper title from the last bank I paid payments to, so I have to get that before I can do anything with it.

Red Bull makes me all crazy and cracked out. I will giggle compulsively, and scratch at myself, and do weird junkie-looking stuff if I drink it. If it's mixed with booze, it makes me puke. Gross.

It may depend on the state. But I'd think a title is needed in all cases, to make sure you aren't selling someone else's car!

It's birdish.  I'm still svelte.  Even though I can lift more than I weigh.
