Why doesn't Laura, set up a PayPal Account?

We could all send, like ten bucks.

I'll go first.

It would be an MM event.

Can you imagine if a thousand of us all sent ten bucks, and they could buy a Toyota

What's the catch?

Well Gosh darn It, ( we say that in Texas)

Everybody here should send you like ten bucks.

On a paypal account.

And then you and Peter should spend the money on something stupid.

Like going to Niagra Falls, or a Prious.

C'mon Dammit,

I know you all have ten bucks you cheap BA****ds.

Laura, if nobody else pony's up, PM me, and I'll send you my ten bucks, and you can buy a cute pair of underpants for the honeymoon.

And the rest of you cheap Ba*****ds can hang Your head in shame.

We got an MM wedding here folks.

I believe we need to make a statement.

Course if you don't have ten bucks for one of the few models here who is real, shows up, does the job, and you don't support this sort of thing...

Then no more damn crying, she didn't show up. bla bla bla.

No more bitching about models.

Dammit, pony up folks, Laura is getting married, and you better send ten bucks to her paypal.

If we all send ten bucks, then we can make a statement, which is:

We support our Models.

And if you cheap bastar*ds don't get behind me on this, I swear, you are all going to hell.

The bad hell, the one where there's no peanut butter, and the cats are all mean.

Laura, Post a Paypal, and I'll send ten bucks, even if nobody else does.

Or PM me, the ten bucks is there.

And if nobody else gets behind this, you are all a bunch of, *************************** Sorry*********

I don't think Kitty did, nor Pixie, nor Poses, (the list goes on)...

Is she pregnant?  Sick?  Accident?  Homeless?

Actually wedding gift registries stopped working?

I understand congratulations, but what's the catch?

Well, to be fair, we did pay it off we're just rebuilding our nest-egg so that we can buy a house and make babies.

It sounds like she is inviting a lot of people from MM and I'm sure that those that go will give more than that...it's customary for those that are *invited* to weddings to give nice presents and those that aren't to not.  I'm not going to give $10 to everyone I've ever met that gets married, etc...and plenty of people on here haven't even met her or him.

That said, I do wish Laura and Peter all of the best, they seem like they are truly made for each other.

I'm not subsidizing a dump truck full of dildos.  (If that wasn't you, Laura, I apologize.  Senility locked in at exactly 12:01AM on my 41st birthday.)

Peter, I'm on a roll here, don't screw up a good thing.

Don't you realize that if I can just get two more folks to join in, that's a half a tank of gas?

Oh I get it, I remember when $10 us was like $27 canadian, but now cause it's like $27 us is like $9 canadian. you don't want our money anymore.

I see, now it all makes sense.

Okay, I stand corrected, no ten dollars for pics of the bride fund is officially cancelled.

Sigh.

Best of luck anyway, and like Laura said, "Ten Bucks ain't gonna fix you anyway."

Okay, nobody goes to hell, nuthing to see here folks.

It was a nice gesture,
Not sure why people got all bent out of shape about it.
If people didn't want to participate they could have just quietly not participated.

Really... why does there need to be a tragedy to do something nice for someone else?

Agreed Chris,

I thought it would be nice if a few of us SF2ers, sent them a hundred bucks, and said;

"Do something stupid with it."

I figured Peter would take a picture, and post it, of her wearing a pair of Licorice underpants.

I wasn't trying to change the world.

Hmm, licorice underpants, now there's an idea.

I thought it was a nice gesture too

I saw nothing wrong with making the suggestion

Just as if they are really registered somewhere that they let us know where and those that care can get them a wedding gift

Everyone loves Laura and Peter.  The issue wasn't the idea it was the screw you attitude that went with it.  Nice things should involve less name-calling.

pretty much that.

It was a nice idea, really, but I dont even have any clue who you are John and youve gone into multiple threads calling people bastards and telling them to fuck off if they dont send me money... I dont WANT anyones money, and I dont like being associated with the event of someone telling people to fuck off if they dont send me their money...thats just kinda weird.

I appreciate the gesture and all, but Im not asking SF2 for any wedding gifts.

Wow this thread is weird.

Young couple in love - get engaged (yay!) and random, from someone they don't know, unsolicited call is made for a whip around.

I'm English, so different culture from most of the participants here, but were it me then I would feel massively insulted by this.

The OP should change his internet handle from shame for being so socially gauche (even if it was well intentioned) and no one else should comment so that this thread dies a quick death.

My best wishes to the happy pair - you don't need this drama - my hopes for a long and love filled marriage go out to you both.
