I prefer sashimi with just a little wasabi and soy sauce.
Anyone know why it's so hard to find real wasabi in the US? We should start a petition to Japan to import more!

Yep. A totally different taste from the fake stuff served in most sushi bars.
I can enjoy the fake stuff. Besides there shouldn't be so much added. I see people creating lake wasabi in their soy sauce plate. It's like they are trying to mask the taste of the sushi instead of complimenting it.

Chuckles. I worked as a sushi chef for a while. I know **exactly** what you mean

I'm counting down the days until I can eat sushi again.
If I are pictures of like cupcakes I need them immediately. Any food in general that I can't have I want.
Yesterday I drank half a gallon of fresh squeezed orange juice. And then I made a wine cake because I had to have it. My husband is finding this all very amusing.
I like that so many people are answering pizza because it makes me feel slightly less guilty constantly craving the place a block away. Though the other day I did stop what I was doing to go next door and get a quiche after I saw someone eating it on tv. This is why I can't watch Breaking Bad.

anything that shows pasta (the simpler the better), shrimp, grilled salmon, sushi, sashimi, bread with cheese, nutella, chocolate milk and strawberries. yum. but sushi is probably the worst of all!
oh and I'm not that crazy about fried food, but these get me going every time... It's like little balls of ragout, crusted and deepfried, with a little bit of mustard on the side. yum.
and these... I crave them so badly as soon as I see or smell them, that I only allow myself to eat them once a year they're a bit like donuts, only softer on the inside and crunchier on the outside, and you eat them hot, with powder sugar on them, and then the sugar kind of sticks to the balls... omnomnomnomnom!
