For shoots, how much of the time are you modeling in your own latex outfits?

I have only shot in latex a couple of times, mainly because I do not have my own outfits. Both times the photographer had a collection and I wore part of that. I would love to pose in latex more often, but I simply cannot afford the cost.

I think most of the llamas who pose in latex frequently own their own outfits. Some of them also may have friends who are designers or they may work for a latex clothing company. Those scenarios are the ones I have seen among all the llamas I have ever met or spoken to who posed in latex often.

About latex i can't tell you, because i haven't tried it yet. But i can tell you about PVC clothing. I own a lot of it and i love it. You sweat a lot in it, so i try to avoid shooting in warm weather. The skin can't breath well especially if you wear fullbody catsuits etc. I manage to do shootings up to 4-5 hours in vinyl clothing or a whole night if i go clubbing wink

Like Dekilah, I've only shot in latex a few times. Designers have either loaned or gifted me with pieces for my shoots, but I imagine that many of the models who shoot in latex regularly own many of their pieces.

I like shooting in it, but no longer have latex pieces in my personal collection. Due to the wear and tear of both my work as a Domme (when I was still active) and shoots, I need to buy some more.

So for right now it's all designer pulls/loans.

This. Spoken well. I would LOVE to shoot in latex A LOT. I havent shot in it other than at conventions for tattoo magazines and for one shoot, which I dont have in my portfolio. I have a few lil pieces, but really loved it when I first tried it on. I can see how it would be addicting, and I think it is sexy as hell. Shine me up baby, yes please.

I've only shot with three models who  have great latex collections. They all have really good connections with designers.

It's fun to sit down and go through latex wardrobe, and mix and match from their collection and mine to come up with something neither of us has shot before.

I've only shot in it a couple times, both my own things. I have a few other pieces I haven't shot yet. Most of it I either bought used or won. I've also modeled it (runway) for a designer.

If I had an unlimited wardrobe fund, a large portion of it would go to latex.

+1

Sadly it's so pricey and I can't afford to buy the outfits. I'd love to shoot in latex but finding photogs with the attire is hard. Friends with outfits is even harder (especially in my area).

I own a few pieces, but I also work very closely with a designer who loans me far more than I could ever imagine owning. I promote for her, model at events and parties and share copies of the photos I take in her pieces.
