[HOW TO ] light effect
Hi everybody i'm not retoucheur , i'm photographer and would like to know how to make that type of effect with photoshop source is http://fashiongonerogue.com/meagan-call … june-2012/ i need to put that type effect on Hi-def picture. please can anybody help me . or it's better to do it only in shoot ? Jan 04 13 05:32 am Link If you mean the light, the simplest way is to just make a new layer set to screen and use a radial gradient ( white to black ). Then you can adjust the color of it if it needs that to fit. Jan 04 13 06:25 am Link it's différent gradiant ?? many one ?? Jan 04 13 06:27 am Link A similar thread is here, with some examples ... https://www.modelmayhem.com/po.php?thre … st17863286 Jan 04 13 06:27 am Link Like Pellepiano said, new blank layer , set soft brush on screen mode and paint with different opacity , for this simple level of work like example you don't need even gradient. Hope that helped, Regards! Jan 04 13 06:31 am Link i allready use that tech but that don't do that at all Jan 04 13 06:45 am Link Basically open of the gradiant once your in there you can actually click and drag for how harsh or soft you want the gradiant to be you can also stack the gradiant to blast it out even more. Jan 04 13 07:03 am Link You can also use normal mode and low brush opacity. I would paint on several blank layers, a different layer for each color. Jan 04 13 07:46 am Link pellepiano wrote: Yes. Before and after, please. Jan 04 13 09:33 am Link you can try using multiple gradients until you get that uneven light look from the first photo i usually just make a blank layer and add the gradient there and then apply image a mask and then add/subtract more gradients to my liking Jan 04 13 11:07 am Link Some of that rainbow lens flare stuff might be http://www.redgiantsoftware.com/product … actory-ps/ but it doesn't have to be. Jan 04 13 11:19 am Link Hi there friend, I've recreated the effect for you to drop onto any photo you like so you can tinker around with it and mask in where you see fit. PM me your email address and I'll shoot you the PSD. Jan 05 13 03:01 pm Link Play around with blending options too. Soft light, lighten, overlay, linear dodge, color dodge etc. can all create interesting lighting effects in addition to normal and screen modes (some of the harsher blending modes should be set to lower opacities). Create multiple layers of different colors, different shapes, and different blending modes and play around until you find the combo you like best. In the example you posted, I see oranges, greens, light blues/whites, etc. in the light. Between a large soft-edge brush and radial gradient, you'll be able to replicate and create any kind of similar light effect.
