[HOW TO ] light effect
Hi everybody i'm not retoucheur , i'm photographer and would like to know how to make that type of effect with photoshop        source is http://fashiongonerogue.com/meagan-call … june-2012/ i need to put that type effect on Hi-def picture. please can anybody help me . or it's better to do it only in shoot ? Jan 04 13 05:32 am Link If you mean the light, the simplest way is to just make a new layer set to screen and use a radial gradient ( white to black ). Soft light, lighten, overlay, linear dodge, color dodge etc. can all create interesting lighting effects in addition to normal and screen modes (some of the harsher blending modes should be set to lower opacities). Create multiple layers of different colors, different shapes, and different blending modes and play around until you find the combo you like best. In the example you posted, I see oranges, greens, light blues/whites, etc. in the light. Between a large soft-edge brush and radial gradient, you'll be able to replicate and create any kind of similar light effect.
