I am a mua and I have been freelancing since April of 2012. My first BIG gig was about 3, 4 months ago. I am having a really hard time getting my "name out". I just want people to know about my services. I have a blog, facebook fan page, youtube channel, business cards.  But, Im not yet satisfied. I dont have many "fans" on my FB. I am wondering is is kind of slow like this for all people in the model/photog/mua industry. I would just like some, tips, advice, or just previous experience. ANYTHING REALLY. I love makeup and I just wanna work. I want to shoot.

It's all about experience. The more you have the easier it is to network. Keep working with photographers and models and as you build your port and a good reputation you will get offers.
