Mortified and Rocky Doll will be Hosting a Haunted Group Shoot
Date: Sunday February 24, 2013 Time: 10am to 6pm Location: The Historic and Haunted Thompson House
24 East 3rd Street Newport, KY 41071 **This is in the Cincinnati, OH Area
The Thompson House has a long history in Newport, KY
and it is Haunted. The owner is allowing us to use
the whole building to host a Haunted Group Shoot.
This is a Multi-Themed Group Shoot.
ALL Types and Styles of llamas, Photographers, Designers,
Artists, Makeup Artists (MUA's), etc. are welcome.
We welcome Beginning and Experienced llamas, Photographers,
Designers, Artists, etc. If you are just Beginning, This will be a
great place to start building your Portfolio.
Details:
Check in is at 10am. Group Shoot from 10am to 6pm.
Please bring your ID. This Group Shoot is 18
Pizza will be served at 1pm for Lunch.
Cost:
$5 at the door for llamas, Photographers, Designers and Artists. Makeup Artists (MUA's) and Hair Stylists are Free.
Rules:
No Nudes.
You must be at least 18 and show ID at the door.
You are solely responsible for any and all property
(and your belongings) you bring with you.
Mortified, Rocky Doll, Quorum and the Owners
of The Thompson House are not responsible for your injuries.
Be Respectful of Everyone and The Facility.
NO DRAMA. If you start any unnecessary drama
You will be asked to leave the group shoot and the building.
No Smoking in the Building.
There will be areas outside available for smoking.

that last for 2 hours or more.

I will take your name off the list.
Also, If you have scheduled a shoot please contact
those people involved so they know you are not coming
and can schedule another shoot.
We want you to come to our group shoot, have FUN
and we hope you create some great art for your portfolio.

but nothing of the inside.

Count me in for this shoot please! Thompson House is just the renamed Southgate House, right? That's a great place for a group shoot. Anyone who wants to find pictures of the place can look under "Southgate House" and probably find plenty.
I have one model so far.. no time set yet though. Not sure who all is actually going yet.. but if you are and you'd be interested in shooting with me, send me a message.

This building is old, historic and haunted.
I think you are going to be able to create a lot of great images
especially with your style of art.
Yes, The Thompson House is the renamed Southgate House.
You will be very pleased with all of the different areas
of this building that can be used to create beautiful creative art.
I have updated the list here on the Model Mayhem part
of the sign up for Models, Photographers, etc. who want to attend.
I would encourage all new Models and Photographers to contact
each other and set up shoots. Shoots are typically done
in 1/2 hour and 1 hour increments. This is the norm but not a rule.

Also, I will not be doing any shoots at this event.

and help anyone who may need assistance, guidance, etc.

10:30am to 11:30am- Shoot
11:30am to 12pm- Work with new models.

I am hoping to have a room dedicated to the new photographers and models.(if this is ok with Rocky of course-we talked about it but never solidified it) That way all of the new photogs and models will have a place to set up/makeup/etc as well as a place where I will be during the open times in my schedule. If you have any questions or curiosities I would be happy to help. If you want to be part of this group of people please feel free to let me know. We all started somewhere(including me:) So let's go forward and have a great time creating!! Also...it is common courtesy NOT to "shoot over the shoulder" of any photographer. They worked hard to get there model ready and create the image they want. If you shoot over their shoulder it will not doubt upset them. If everyone respects everyone we will have a great time!!!
