Not much you can do about the latter, so a lot of people will just shrug and move on. The former is 'fixable' but it is also in a way more personal.
I agree.. I think for llamas, most rejection is based on a certain physical trait we do or do not possess, not so much our work.. whereas with photographers, they may hear "your artwork is not my style, and I will pass on being a part of it." that would be a harsh message.
