My foot fell asleep. I wanted to see if I could walk on it before the prickles of pain kicked in or the fact that I couldn't feel it. Seems I decided to do a bit of a gravity check. Feb 02 13 07:09 am Link That happened to me before. Although it was in the hospital when I was waiting for my sister to get out of her knee surgery. I had no sleep the night before since I worked until 3am. So I crashed in the waiting room. Took 10 minutes for the volunteer to wake me up. I stood up and fell down, sat down for a sec and tried it again. I said, well I will have to sit here for a few minutes my legs are asleep and it seems they won't work. Everyone in the waiting room was laughing at me. I was laughing at myself...as I tried to wake up all the way. I giggled all the way into the post op area to tell Jen. So funny. At least I didn't eat the floor there! Its nasty!! lol Feb 02 13 03:43 pm Link Fergy wrote: I give you props for keeping a smile about the situation! Man, that must have been embarrassing. Haha. Ah, well. Feb 02 13 09:47 pm Link Good thing you nearly ate the floor, it doesn't taste that great anyways. Feb 02 13 10:37 pm Link |
