If you're working with a reputable photographer (you've checked him out, right?), just go have fun and learn what you can.
This is practice being "a professional" MORE  than it is specifically being "a model".

Tell someone exactly where you're going and how long you expect to be. It's the professional thing to do.

Get adequate rest, eat a scrumptious breakfast, wear clean underwear ... and be on time.
