The foreman for the builders here just bulldozed the snow off our driveway, we've already shoveled twice before this.

Toronto is not used to this. Toronto got more snow yesterday then the entire winter of last yr. This is the worst in 5 yrs.

They have to freak out to convince as many people as possible not to go out unnecessarily where they will get into accidents and put first responders at risk, costing the rest of us taxpayers money.

Going out unnecessarily? Isn't that called "skiing"?

It missed us, but we got a bit of the storm Toronto got, with a bit of LES enhancement. It wasn't worth the effort. Maybe 6".

Compared to what we usually got, that's just what we get every day for weeks, sometimes. There's a place about 30 miles from here that routinely gets 300" per year. 6" is just rounding error to them.

Yeah, its a total mess. There are sidewalks out there that still haven't been cleared out making it a huge issue for pedestrians in some parts of the city. Gotta say though, we made it out of this with minor issues considering that we recently cut back on snow removal services.

Here are a few pictures my better half took after the snowstorm in our Neighbourhood. Its not Toronto, Toronto but its close enough :p.

We've had that much snow in one or two days at least three times this year. We are used to it in Sask. tongue
