Don't pay attention to everything you read here. Stand up for what you want for the direction you are taking with what you want. I get photographers on MM telling me all the time in the forums, that I won't get work because of my views and what I want. I just laugh. I am booked pretty solid most all the time.
And yes after 22 years of modeling I still take my husband with me often. Most photographer do not have a problem with that at all. And yes I am talking about some of the best photographers, that have been in the industry for several years.
Keep working on your profile and put up a diversified collect of what you will do.
