what is the best way to block out eyebrows...i googled but cant find anything. I wanna do some betty boop , edward scissorhand looks which will involve blocking out the brows!
I only have wax at the moment, anything else i could use?

I've covered my own eyebrows using two methods, one is SO much faster than the other. The first is the glue stick the other is spirit gum/modeling wax. The glue stick works best if the person already has shorter eyebrow hair. Gluesticks are non-toxic and I havent had a reaction and dont know of any Drag Queens that have.
Glue Stick
1.)Take eyebrow comb and brush it against the hair growth so its all kinda sticking up then go back over with the grain to comb it and make it all going the right way.
2.)Take the glue stick (I LOVE the purple one, especially the bigger sticks are easier) and go over it startiing just before the eybrow starts until just past making sure you're getting just above and below.
3.)Wait for it to dry
4.)Do this 2 or 3 times more until desired effect. Sometimes you can use a knife or putty knife and take a chunk off the glue stick and go over that way. This way can take up to a half hour to dry. If you have a chinese fan to wave at the glue it goes faster.
Glue is safe, and I've used it hundreds of times to no effect. Comes off without any problem.
Spirit Gum/Modeling Wax
1.)Take eyebrow comb and brush it against the hair growth so its all kinda sticking up then go back over with the grain to comb it and make it all going the right way.
2.)Take the spirit glue and go the wrong way with the brush getting every little bit
3.)Smooth it out and go over it again the right way.
4.) Take modeling wax and make a tiny ball and make a THIN layer over the eyebrows. Start at the base near the nose and go backwards
With both methods powder with translucent powder after. The spirit glue takes the solvent to remove and can take a while but it takes like 5 mins.

Glue Stick is used by many a professional - a read through the linked thread is a good discussion on the topic.
It's not my choice - but Non-Toxic is NOT Makeup is my Soap Box.
Welcome to MM - a SEARCH will bring up MANY threads with many techniques.
I've used just Aqua Cream on sparse brows, morticians wax on others. My favorite technique to date is no-tac Prosaid.

Please leave makeup advice to the professionals & don't go spreading this info around! I'm a professional Drag Queen that does this 2 or 3 times a week and have had 0 reactions. Many other performers also do it this way. Just because my title isn't MUA, doesn't mean I'm not knowledgeable.
That being said, it is true it is not make-up and I did provide a second solution but I've used both. I just hate taking spirit gum off, I always end up taking eyebrows out even with the remover.

Glue stick is widely used in the industry its a quick and easy way to cover brows i usually use glue stick when i dont have any brow wax its a really easy gentle way not to mention most glues are water soluable so they come off with a little makeup remover
ive even used glue stick on myself a number of times i do drag as well as makeup and ive never ever had any problems either

You can use soap, just scrape off a soap bar and smooth over the brows x

Please leave makeup advice to the professionals & don't go spreading this info around! actually a lot of drag queens use glue stick (not the stick from glue guns but regular non toxic glue) ... Rupaul is still alive right? A lot of drag queens are the best MUA in town ...

Whether I use the pros-aide or glue stick method depends on the job - but I like them both. I do not like the spirit gum method. The fumes can easily irritate the model/actor's eyes.
Note: The glue stick application is much easier to remove.
