Hello, sorry if this has already been answered but I could not find it. Can I make my own airbrush eyeshadow colors by mixing Mac pigments (for example) with temptu  s/b mixing medium? If there are any other ways to create colors please explain! Thank you!!

I've never tried Mac pigments but I've done well with scraping in some eyeshadow into the s/b pigment.  It might clog so make sure not to put too much pigment in.  Normally for airbrush eyeshadow I like to use the airbrow colors or the hi def colors.  Make sure to use a shadow primer and set with powder after or it will crease.

Ok thanks! I purchased the temptu multicolors kit but I have not been loving the darker shades. The colors in the airbrow kit do look better. So are the formulas all the same across the product categories? Like is there an actual difference in formula between the blush colors and eye colors? Also, do u have a lid primer recommendation? I know the primer makes a huge difference with these products. Thank you so much you have been incredibly helpful to me and my airbrushing adventures smile

Yes, the whole s/b line is all the same in terms of formulations.  I like the urban decay primer for airbrushing over.  I normally only airbrush eyes to do the crease or outer eye contour.  There's something about that beautiful crease to brow bone color gradient airbrushing gives that is difficult to replicate by hand.  For the actual lid color I tend to do all eyeshadow.
