The workshop at the Cattail Studio is designed for photographers who want to expand the breath and diversity of their portfolios in an 3 hour workshop setting with high quality images of a) two experienced art nude models, b) a variety of lighting areas and possibilities (strobe, continuous and natural) and c) sets (studio, reading room, and boudoir). A great opportunity to expand the diversity and breath of your portfolio!

Each monthly workshop also features an outstanding fine art nude/figurative photographer who will conduct the workshop and provide ideas and tips for the participating photographers. Our Mentor for February will be Chris Maxwell of Liquid Light Images, a great photographer and instructor! Chris is one of the top fine art photographers in the area and uses light in ways which are highly creative and give is images a special touch. Chris will meet with the group during the 1st half-hour, prior to the start of the shoot, for some Q&A time to discuss his approach to fine art nude photography, and specific interests and objectives in participating in the workshop. There will be a limit of 4 photographers, to facilitate the flow of the workshop in the different shooting areas, and a good balance between the models and photographers.

Our models are visiting from NYC, and are "in-residency"! Not only can you select to do a half-hour 1-on-1 with them after the day's workshop (limited to 2 per session, better book quickly!) they will also be staying at Cattail for a few days, with the studio running it's special MIR rate of $25ph flat rate (includes equipment).

Workshop Fee: $150 per 3hr session (includes model release and use of Pocket Wizard).

One-on-ones fees: $50 per half hour- paid to the studio (will disburse to models.)
