I'm new to the industry and trying to figure out how to get the best shots. I would love to have feedback about how to pose/ make better expressions to get the best shots. I am just started to branch out on different styles and would love some tips and advice!

thanks!

Kind of look like self shot images

This is a strong image
Next time move hair behind models left shoulder; this will open up your neck
Also roll back your left shoulder; this will open up the view to your neck and face

Photos that are taken with the camera looking down on you have the tendency to make you look small
Would really love to see your feet

Due to pose and outfit this is making your midsection look large
If you show me your knees I expect to see your feet

I would look for some other photographers to add to your portfolio

You have a great smile
Wish you well

Howdy neighbor, before any of the blood thirsty critique crowd get a hold of ya, my advice is to just shoot shoot shoot! You'll have to do trade with lots of photogs or pay some but just get out there and keep getting new images and you'll build something worth being proud of, and probably learn a lot about your strengths and weaknesses too! Have fun!

Practice in the mirror... Use your angles as much as possible... try to visualize what exactly you are showing to the camera (making sure you are not jutting an appendage inappropriately at the camera or cutting it off for example... Don't be too rigid... Try to embody something, some form of honesty, emotion, depth... If you look at the camera attempt to look past the camera, there should be light in your eyes and something shining through you...

I would replace all of them ASAP except this one.

And this one.

I would definitely take out the photos that are self-shot. They aren't flattering and look cheap.

Also, take this one out.

It's very over-exposed, you lose over half of your face, arms and the snake.

I think you should be more selective of the photographers you TF shoot with OR invest in a photographer you KNOW will give you images you can be proud of, and will give your portfolio the POP that it needs.
