A tribute to my retiring D300
You served me well since 9/2008 for 347 shoots and 113136 images. At the time, you seemed like the last camera I would ever need, but as I got more into available light photography in 2011, high ISO performance showed your age. Today your D7100 successor has arrived, and I wish you happiness in the old body's home alongside my D50 and D80. I had a D3 for a few months, but it was to big and bulky. The D300 had a place in my bag. I eventually sold it to a friend for $300 to replace her D40 which was getting an IR mod.
