I am having a hard time to find professional photographers IN my area that will like to work with my daughter. She tends to get paid gigs more than I do, lol. But most of her work is always in Los Angeles but really want to find trade pics or gigs in my area (Mesa, Arizona). My daughter got her gigs from American Apparel but really want to build more on her portfolio and your opinions on her "look" would be highly appreciated! i think a parent can have a page for their kid on omp (one model place). i've worked with several young models that way.

It is a directory similar to Model Mayhem, but it allows children also.  It is also interesting to note that they actually do a bit of screening, I'm not sure that parents are aware of it however. For any photographer or professional who posts a casting call on the service for any models or actors below the age of 18, you must first verify yourself with the company which is based in New Zealand.  They require the professional to send a copy of their passport or driver's licence to them to retain on file.  So it isn't a perfect screening process but it's better than nothing.
