I'm new on MM and I'm very interested in learning how to retouch photos. I found this photo here on MM, I forgot who posted the photo in the samples, contest area (Person who posted the original photo: if you see this and dont want this posted I will delete it). This is my before and after of the photo.

If you cant see the picture its because I probably didn't post it correctly, LOL.

looks good so far but skin is a bit too yellow for my taste and I would clean up some of the flyaway hairs too.

I completely forgot about the hair, the skin was a failed attempt of making it look tan or brownish ( tried to change the tone of the whole image). Thanks

I agree, and I would put some color in her lips and fix the yellowy eye shadow

Nice attempt, just a bit too yellow but nice. Also, the skin work is fine I don't feel it needs anymore work you have a good eye keep that. I see something happening in her top left where you removed hair, make that look good. The flyways by her right ear and right neck I might take those out and draw a few nice ones by the ear. I might liquify or transform shape of face a tiny bit to make it look better, a little not much. I would maybe work on the lips more and get those looking good.

100% agree. Skin work is great, no need to do more.

The way I like to correct skin colour is add cyan and black to the red channel in selective color adjustment layer.

If anything you should've added detail to the skin, not removed it.

Eyes are lost now, you DNBed right over them.

Skin si way to saturated and yellow.
