Only started really going on shoots in April, but it all feels sort of strangely natural. Still, I'd love to know what I'm doing that's working, rather than relying on happy accidents, though they've served me well.

Also a few other q's: Should I keep my avatar as is, and should I nix the weaker pics in my port so that it has only the strongest images? If so which? I'm not sure if it's better to have more pics, or fewer, stronger ones. Also, any suggestions on posing, expressions, etc, I would love to hear them...

Thank you!

EDIT: I'm sorry, I thought I was in general crits, and am now unsure how to delete it to repost in the appropriate location...  You may disregard this post if you like. Apologies!

Avatar? - yes - I like yours a lot.

Remove weakling images? - absolutely - You have some really lovely shots - and some really dull ones mixed in, that pull everything down.

You really do photograph well and have some splendid shots.

The biggest thing I see, is that your bio talks about your vision and how you want to be portrayed.  And your images show some splendid images - of other concepts.

There is a bit of a disconnect between the bio and images - A portfolio where you can be the canvas for others - or a model looking to forge her own way in her images.

First - your bio looks great. You express yourself very well and professionally and you also have great ideas/skills that you can bring to a shoot. That is always important, continue to update your ideas and looking at other models ports is a great way to find inspiration.

Second - your profile pic looks very artistic however I think it downplays your face a lot.  The shapes of the photography and the colors are great, if only you had brought your face slightly more towards camera or away into a profile view.

As for the rest of your profile most of the pictures are awesome and very artistic. If I were getting rid of pictures I would get rid of the 2nd, 6th, and 7th pics. They don't add to your port and you have much better work than those pics show.

Thank you both for your input! It's greatly appreciated. Perhaps ill add something to my profile about enjoying being brought a concept as well. While I have my own ideas, they certain don't conflict in any way with my interest in collaborating on a photogs vision. If that's not clear, I should make it so!

Re pic 2, I'm hesitant to pull it bc it's the one that MMers have responded to most favorably, and so (bc its on lists, etc) I think it brings ppl to my port. I also have a soft spot for 7 bc its so gritty and natural and tough but sexual as well. I also like the hand gesture. It's not a glamorous shot, but it does show a diversity of energy. The others might go, though.

Thank you again, very thoughtful feedback from you both.

My personal favorite - for showing your raw emotion:

As others have said, 2 and 6 seem to take away from your portfolio, and while I respect that others are looking at them and commenting on them, you're going to have to ask the people that you work with if they're bringing you business.  Honestly, I don't think they are.

2 has, more so than any other image in my port aside from my avatar. 6 hasn't.
