I've added some photo's to my portfolio, what do you think of them?

Your posing could use some adjustments
Shoulders are up high which is shortening the appearance of your neck
Right arm is too straight
Fingers would appear better if pointed to the side
Missing left hand, if you show elbow it best to see the hand too
Part of a curtain in background is not a professional look

Suggest finding a photographer that works with new models to help in posing

Wish you well

for the background: my friend made the photo's because i wanted some photo's from my prom dress for shoots. so that's why i posted them.

within a few weeks i'm having my first shoot. so that's why i asked for critique.

Agree with everything Lee stated.

The bathroom pictures look like bathroom pics. Not necessarily a bad idea, but you should have pulled the curtain to the outside to hide the bottles and tub form the scene.

Poses: try standing in front of a full length mirror and match the pose of a fashion model you see in the magazines. Rip out the image and tape it to the mirror. Then try to match every little aspect. Same hand positions, same finger curl, same head angle and tilt.

You generally do not want straight lines. bend the elbow, wrist, and fingers. Learn to strike a few poses you've seen. Learn them well. then bring them all together for your own look.

Top models understand lights. Learn to favor the main light. Never let your arms or hair shadow your face  - blocking the light to the face.
