Man complains to police about prostitute's looks
"A man has been warned after he dialled 999 to complain about a prostitute's looks after meeting her. West Midlands Police said they were contacted by the caller who said he "wished to report her for breaching the Sale of Goods Act". The force said the call was received at about 19:30 BST on Tuesday complaining that the woman was not as attractive as she had claimed. Sgt Jerome Moran, based at Solihull police station, called the man back to offer some advice."I told him that she'd not committed any offences and that it was his actions, in soliciting for sex, that were in fact illegal." http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-bi … m-22887138 Jun 14 13 09:19 am Link lol.....that's like calling the police to report someone stole your cocaine. And even the real thing, just shorted on weight. Jun 14 13 09:35 am Link I bet the guy himself was the ultimate hunk. The lady is selling sex. Unless she is lying about her gender, her "goods" are pretty much guaranteed to be what is required. [in the US that would be, like, Consumer Protection] Studio36 Jun 14 13 12:20 pm Link Always thought people who found it a good idea to pay for sex had to be cut a bit short on brain cells. Can this be valued legit confirmation? Jun 14 13 01:44 pm Link Naughty Ties wrote: Interesting point now that marijuana is legal in Colorado. I wonder what legal recourse someone would have if your weed was stolen? If it's legal (according to state law) to possess, and you can place a value on it, could someone be charged with grand larceny if they steal steal enough weed to break the value threshold of GL? Jun 15 13 06:07 pm Link It didn't surprise me this happened in Birmingham *sigh* Jun 15 13 06:09 pm Link SteeringWinds wrote: I'd like to see how the first instance of that plays out because you KNOW somebody is eventually going to file a suit over bad or stolen weed. What a can of worms that could turn out to be if people start suing over bad pot or pot that didn't give them the high they wanted. The lawyers would have a field day. lol Jun 15 13 06:18 pm Link joeyk wrote: How a person looks does not equate to why they would pay for sex.
