I was going to say this. Pearson is not actually in Toronto, it is located in a suburb.  It is a long bus ride and another long subway ride after that to get to the downtown core.

What is the city you will actually be in?  I may be able to make a suggestion on where to go there.

I was anticipating ordering from the shop and having them deliver to my final destination, which is Sault Ste Marie? Not quite such a big destination or so I'm led to believe. Thanks ladies, the help and advice is invaluable.

Ah! the world is so small. I grew up in Sault Ste. Marie.  Nowhere to buy make up, but lots of great Italian food

We also now have the MAKE UP FOR EVER pro boutique in the Sephora Eaton Center which offers 40% off to professionals (this is another e-mail ahead thing) and they carry the full pro line including body paints, fx, and single flash colors.  I don't remember there being anywhere to see the full line of MUFE when I was in London.  Their new vegan brush line is really worth taking a look at.

One more I will suggest, which is a bit more skincare oriented is Jacob and Sebastian.

It's a destination for visiting celebrities, he has some really cool stuff there, and loves giving samples to working artists.  Also, he carries Oribe, which is a hair line worth checking out.

As far as hair extensions, wefts, supplies, etc. Chlore beauty supply at Dufferin and Bloor is your best bet.  Also offering a professional discount, they are the very inexpensive and carry almost anything you might need for editorial hair.  They have aisles upon aisles of different options for wefts and extensions, and the staff is very knowledgeable, and will gladly help you in choosing exactly what you need.  They also sell hot tools branded products which are great.

There is a Sally Beauty supply but it is a little bit tricky to get to, also totally worth going.  They also have a pro card! I love to go there for nail polishes and cheap round brushes, plus a huge variety of combs.
Other spots are Cosmetic world (high end hair products - bumble and bumble, phyto, pureology, pravana and ellumen dyes) Some artists also shop at Hiscott's, Malabar, and the Kryolan store, but I find those three grossly overpriced, and while they offer a pro discount, they jack up the prices 200% , so you're still paying much more than you should.  In my oppinion, you can get the same if not better quality products at the other stores mentioned above.

Thank you for posting this!  I just moved to Toronto at the start of this month and was wondering if I could find anything about local stores in these forums.  You totally just made my life easier and as a huge yaby fan, my life is going to be a lot poorer as well.

Blur is about a 12 minute walk from the Eaton's Centre. 

If you want to save money, park at the IMPARK Cambridge Suites at 20 Richmond Street East (between Victoria and Yonge) $7-$8.  Cut through The Bay to keep warm.

Alternately, if you're heading west afterward, park at Parkway RioCan Hall Garage (313 Richmond W.) just west of John ($10) and walk up to Blur (4 minutes).
