Hi Amy - have you read all the sticky posts in the newbie forum about scams?

Sometimes photographers ask for up to date photos of prospective models. I'd be very wary of giving out any personal information though.

Have you checked the photographer out? Done a Google search? Asked for references?

I'd be wary of any photographer asking for your insurance number and a copy of your passport.
As for seeing pics of you in your underwear so they can see if your skins okay is a bit lame and dodgy, it would be like me saying to you, "Can you sent some nude pics so I can see if your face is okay"

If I want to know if your skin is okay, I just ask, I don't need to see you in your underwear.

So personally I would think it would be a scam of some sort.

When in doubt ask people on Model Mayhem or do searches on the people and their so called Companies and never ever give out personal information like bank details, copies of passports, tax/insurance numbers to people you don't know, because photographers would not ask for those.

.......although, they may ask for your phone number though
