Is YesStyle a scam?
I was contacted by a model by the name of Sandy Lai who claims to have been assisting in a scout for models in the Seattle area to participate in a paid upcoming shoot for "YesStyle" I did a Skype interview this morning with a woman named Sarah Harden who evaluated my body, nude and clothed, took notes and told me she would fax them to the management, who will contact me with further details if my look is desirable and they would like to potentially work with me. Has anyone been contacted by them? Does this sound credible? How should I proceed? Thanks. By the way, I wouldn't mention names in connection to the word scam in a public forum, until you get all the facts straight, someone could be using the name of a real person from a legitimate company, in a wrong way... I'm finding a Korean fashion site based out of Canada.... If this is them, I'm guessing their demographic is a lot smaller than you are, based on your MM description. If this was a fashion job, did they say why they needed nudes of you? Not looking good... It is good to do some diligence on anybody who says they want to hire you for some fashion project and then wants. . . nudes. A model asked me to be her manager. She gets some really strange offers. One thing for the future. Why you and not an agency model? Nov 10 13 04:49 pm Link Let's see... you are brand new on MM (less than a week)... you have 'some' experience... and (since this isn't the critique forum) I can't comment on your port. I guess the best way to put this is... when you join a modeling site and immediately begin getting great, unexpected 'offers' to perhaps step into the limelight as an instantly successful model... you have to ask yourself... Why would they choose me when there are well-seasoned, 'very' experienced models with extremely versatile ports, that know the moves and have been doing this for years, and have been shot numerous times by obviously professional photographers?
