Hi everyone,
I have some questions about something I saw from my window this morning.
When I looked outside it looked like water was falling from the sky.
Is this possible?

I know it sounds crazy, but I've heard of this sort of thing happening in other parts of the world.
Maybe there's just something wrong with the sprinkler system?

Has anyone ever heard of this happening before?

Thanks,
A Concerned Californian

LOL, I had an outdoor workshop planned today.  I didn't want to see that stuff!

I understand when trying to plan an outdoor shoot, but you are the only one today

I didn't really wanna see rain today either.
Although I'm glad it didn't rain yesterday, cause I had some work to do outside.
Feels like it hasnt rained at all this "winter".

Wait! Wut? When did they legalize L.S.D. in California? Water? Falling from the sky? Everyone knows that only dirt falls from the sky. Oh wait, I'm in AZ. Carry on!

On a more serious note: Glad you folks got some water. Things are not looking very good over there right now. I can still remember the commercials from 30 years ago - if it's yellow, let it mellow. If it's brown, flush it down! And that was **before** the drought of recent years!

It was so beautiful today! Not the sunny-skies kind of beautiful but the sort of weather that makes you glad for a Sunday and the option to stay at home and watch TV with the cat.

I think that's about how much we got here in the bay area too.

Yep! Got rained on while bbq'ing before the game. First time it's ever rained on us while grilling on Superbowl Sunday.

I'm going to need a little more info about this;
what was on your grill?

I know it's bad there, but I'm surprised the drought hasn't really made national news. First I heard orbit was when some dept in chat purge of water said it couldn't deliver water to parts of the state.

Never did understand why CA hasn't made a significant investment in desalinization plants. The Pacific has unlimited water.

Marinated steak and chicken and also mac-n-cheese in the smoker.
