Marketing Tips?
For all of you awesome makeup artists out there specifically for the bridal industry, what are your strategies for gaining clientele for weddings? I currently have listings on The Knot and Wedding Wire, have rave reviews, a ton of experience in bridal, but am not getting too many bites. Do you all have some approaches or strategies that you have found to be effective for booking brides? Please feel free to take a look at my website. Any feedback is greatly appreciated! I thought it was just me in the beginning until a friend who I freelance for from time to time told me last year who by the way has hundreds of reviews and last year booked a record (for her) of 112 weddings that NONE of them were because of Wedding Wire. 90% of the clients I do book are referred to me by photographers, or other industry professionals I have worked with I the past. I also try to participate in at least one bridal show every year to get me name in front of brides and it is an amazing way to network with other wedding vendors.
