OK, I'm going to be really picky here. You are a beautiful woman and most of the pictures do not do you justice.

#1 Your expression is sort of flat and blank - are you doing the "model look"?  The light on you has no contrast, graying you out.

#2 Pictures where you are not identifiable do not belong in your portfolio

#3 I love this one. Your face as a lovely expression and the contrast is great.

#4 Also great. The colors really work.

# 5 This could have been so nice. Your hand is in an awkward place catching the flash which has also overexposed your cheek and above. The ring flash is seen as a circle highlight in your eye. Your lipstick is overdrawn on your lower lip. You have full lips, they don't need to be made fuller. Your hair looks good, wild. Looks like you were caught mid-pose.

#6 This is another could have been - The low contrast here is greying you out, the catchlights in your eyes shows the ringlight and the reflector very clearly, a distraction. Face, pose, and expression are lovely. You should be in magazines and ads.

#7 Another beauty spoiled by lack of contrast and the catchlights.

#8 Expression sort of blank, low contrast, distracting finger and Y shaped scar on shoulder. Backing up might have cured the last two. The catchlights in your eyes work here.

You have great facial features that can be sculpted by light, find someone who knows how. We should see more of you.  Good luck.

hey

id agree the black and whites definitely lack punch
but as a portfolio it lacks variety your not really presenting your skills
experiment with different lighting different angles different backgrounds
to give a broader view of what you can do
