I'm building a make-up station in my photo studio and would like to hear what various MUA recommend in terms of lighting (both color and quantity)

I've seen portable make-up lighting that includes everything from tungsten to high CRI flourescent to LED and prices ranging from hundreds to thousands of dollars. 

So...what should I put in?

daylight LED's. Mount them in front of the mirror so that the reflection of the light is even across the face.
