[far too disturbing and disgusting to quote save for the mention of MM as noted below]

Oh, noooos. No, no, no, no! Just NO!

"... On a website called Model Mayhem, [the arrestee] claims she has been “modeling” since age 19. Her rates are flexible. ..."

How in the hell is there a demand for this horrifying stuff? What kind of a person could sit through that without their insides shriveling up in pity and disgust, never mind find it sexually gratifying?!

Don't believe everything you read....I suspect they grossly exaggerated the truth like most media outlets.

We have farms here that are just as bad if not worse than this one person can do.

There are 7 billion people on this planet.  Unfortunately, some of them are really, really sick.

I know girls who have been approached for critter torture videos. It's reasonbly popular.

Ususally involves a bound or otherwise helpless creature beuing slowly stomped to death with high heels.

Then there are the performance art people who seem to love torturing cats - Toronto has a few of them too. I walk out of parties or receptions where they are still feted for being cutting edge - they're still part of the toronto arts scene.

Sad sad world.

I can assure you, this is a real thing that happens. It is not exaggerated.

Why would you think it was, if you say farms do even worse?

I'm moving to Mars. No oxygen, but at least I won't accidentally sit next to one of those people on the bus.

Just because it's in the news doesn't make it accurate reporting for starters. Reporters are whores for a story and will do anything to make it more interesting by exaggerating and in some cases making stuff up.

You ever been to a chicken farm?  The chickens have no room to move, walk and lay in there own fecal matter and many die because they are too fat to move. They die slowly of disease, obesity, heart disease and other stuff.  Ever seen cows get slaughtered?  I have, not pretty. Much worse than you can imagine and sometimes they don't die right away, they are in agony just waiting on line. They are social animals and know that death awaits them.

We can feel bad for the animals but we have a corporate culture here that does it on a normal everyday basis. Calling this one person a criminal and pointing a finger isn't going to change much of anything.

You're contradicting yourself. You're saying you think these reports are fake, yet saying awful things like this do happen.

I never said fake, I said exaggerated. I didn't say all...I was speaking about this story so there is no contradiction.

My reference to farms is about animal cruelty, they do it too....

I believe people will pay for this sort of thing. I know a women who bought a house by selling excrement... What's a chicken and a hand job?

I have to agree with the person above who pointed out they do bad stuff to get us food, but I'm still not ok with prolonged torture. If we can do something to stop it let's.

Zamora was arrested while already in jail. She had been on probation on two separate cases, on charges including grand-theft with a firearm, credit card fraud, possession of a fictitious driver’s license and cocaine possession. If convicted on the animal cruelty charges, she could face up to five years in prison on each count.

I hope she get the max on each count.
I hope they nail Redford hard, the guy who organized such event.

These creatures that torture animals can't really be regarded as humans or even carbon based life forms.  They may actually thrive on a place like Mars.

Hate to agree with you, but I have to.
And we treat people just as badly.

Many is the time I am ashamed of being human.

Denying a person to be a human being is not a bit better than torturing animals...

There are a lot of strange fetishes... at least strange to me. I don't get balloon popping or bug squishing among others but some like it and pay for it. And there's money to be had for modeling for it.

But, if you are going to do something out of the main stream you should be ready for a backlash. And if you are not smart enough to do your homework to find out what you're doing is a felony, then you deserve what you get (and if convicted on all eight she's looking at up to five years probation but if there is any prior arrests then state prison 12 to 18 months).
