It is actually warming up in CT!!!  I am a ninety-five percent studio shooter and would like to experiment with nudes in nature.  Anyone know good locations for that is CT or south-central MA?

Kent Falls gets really busy.  But it's an amazing location.

If you plan well it can be done, however, you probably don't want to.  If you do go there, use an Ephemeris app such as:

http://photoephemeris.com

to plan your shot and get there just before dawn on a weekday so that you're ready to go when the sun hits.  Having a spotter isn't a bad idea.  But, and this is important, if you get caught, you will have a bad day...

Legally, the park doesn't open until 8:00AM.

There are many other waterfall locations in New England that are safer to work around.

Now, having said all of that, I think you're working backwards.  First figure out what you want to shoot.  Once you have that, then find a suitable location.

I've more or less given up hope on doing anything nude outside in congested, conservative central New England... Would love to even find an appropriate place I could rent reasonably if need be! Back-watching is not in my style plans, but it has been the only way I could get the few outside pics that I have done.

The point of my post is that I know what I want to shoot, and need advice on location.  I know Kent Falls.  Out of the question.

Then why didn't you mention what you want to shoot?  "Nudes in nature" is kind of broad...  Beach?  Woods?  Lake?

I grew up in Farmington, hell, if all you want is to photograph a women in "nature" you could probably do that within walking distance of where you live.  So, I'm assuming you have something more specific in mind...

Devil's Hopyard in East Haddam

Grayville Falls In Hebron

Salmon River, Colchester

All of these you'd need some slight hiking but they're all beautiful.

I shoot nudes outside in MA all the time, even on the far more congested coast. You just need to explore more. I've shot nudes in Quincy on a secluded section of beach with Boston skyline in the background across the bay. A very small, secluded, park with a pond in Mansfield, right off a main road, but few know it's even there. Many more places too. The key in my experience is shooting on weekdays during the day when most people are at work.

I frequently use Google Earth to find potential locations, and then scout them out on the ground.
