I've found this picture on flickr and would love to do shoot at a motel like this next time I'm in Florida.  Anyone know where there is one like this?

The beach towns often have a lot of old hotels that have something like that look. I'd say get on google earth and cruise the strip of pick your beach beach town. Cocoa Beach had a lot of hotels like that, many were where astronauts stayed back during the 60's.

If you want beach access, you'll drive along A1A between New Smyrna and south of Cocoa Beach.  If you don't care about beach access, drive along US 1 (inland from the beach by a few miles).  I promise you there are a lot of retro motels along the way.

Before the Interstate Highways, US 27 down through the middle of the state was a heavily travelled route for vacationers. Although a lot of the old sights, restaurants, and motels are gone, many still remain. I'd suggest looking starting from I-4 and heading south on US 27 through Haines City and Lake Wales.

I have to agree.  Most of the hotels in our area have been modernized over the years.

Kissimmee (KA-simee, not Kiss-amee) "may" have a some.  That's more towards the Disney area.  The main road is 192.  Filled with hotels.  Both old and new.  Some even broken down and abandon.

This is about 3 hours away, but driving down Biscayne Blvd in Miami, you see a number of retro motels left over from the two-lane highway, cruising days.
