I recently got this message. Could this be genuine or just a joke for a laugh?

"Hello MonkeyL!

Hope you are doing great!

I represent an agency -  SASHA Models and we are really interested to collaborate in terms of abroad representation/international placement.

If interested you can email your pro portfolio, recent polaroids, casting video, full body measurements, age, nationality, availability and contact details to [email protected] , our team will review and we'll approach you shortly for discussion.

Best of luck and waiting your positive reply at the earliest :-) "

Not enough details, but I don't get any red flags.  Plus, they seem to have a pretty decent web presence.

Although, the 4,412 likes seems suspect. But that's just marketing and buying likes.

Sets of alarm bells for me. First of all, the English is clunky and points to a Nigerian scammer sitting in some Internet cafe with broken English skills.
I've also encountered this similar phrase in scams I've encountered.

Looks like an agency out of Omaha. One phone number, no address listed on the site. They are "trying", but doubt that they have the cache of the larger agencies. The e-mail is from their site domain, so it likely is them. There is one model on the "direct booking" page. Also the talent side looks larger. Why they need a model in the Netherlands would be a reach.

Doubt that it is a "scam", but running a $150 local "workshop" means, like all lower tier, outside of the major markets agencies, making money would be a tough deal.
