Hi all! I've usually been on MM as a model but I've always loved the post processing side of this crazy industry!

This is the first retouch I've done after reading so much about it, I decided to apply it and love the whole concept of enhancing images. My end goal I guess is just improve and get more 'high end' which I know comes with lots of practise and time. But for now I'd love some constructive criticism on this image. Feel free to look at others in my profile too if you have thought on those and pm me regarding them!

EDIT: I'm not quiet sure how to post larger images on the forums yet...If someone knows would love tip! I'm on a Mac so 'right click, properties' doesn't work...

a nice, if somewhat overly subtle start to your retouching, which is probably the best way to go. hopefully you are editing in a non-destructive manner and can make changes to the images after the fact, as thats the best way to learn, go back to images after you've lived with them for a day or two.

as for this shot, I think it could benefit from some more smoothing, contouring and coloring.

easy to post larger size, just do it the same way as before and remove the _m in the link.

Ah thanks for the tip! Thank you for your valuable input. I've been doing exactly what you said and actually do save and look again the next day to see how I feel about it. I thought the same things as you regarding doing more smoothing to skin etc which I will def work on it. I'll see if I can put up a before picture...
