I was browsing Cristian Girotto's website when I came across these beautiful photos...

I have never seen this kind of effect before. Does anyone have any idea how this was accomplished?

Here is one of my favorites from him.

Just gorgeous! I could stare at this all day.

Oh! This has been around for a few years. I thought it was new but upon looking through some older threads from 2009 or 2011 in the samples section I saw someone post a sample that had this effect.

I found a tutorial for you smile - http://design.tutsplus.com/tutorials/ho … -psd-27617

Download Cinema 4D somewhere or buy it and get started!

Bootleg Tutorial - http://larissameek.com/2008/01/11/candy … -tutorial/

I imagine that you can apply some of those methods from the bootleg to a RAW and experiment a bit to see if you get a similar effect. Might not be Michael O style crisp, but it might be worth trying.

Knock yourself out! Also! Strath I wanted to tell you that I think your retouching is quite lovely ^ ^

I would probably grab something shiny and move it around, studying the reflections, then paint it all with the pen tool and gradients. But, I'm a moron.

EDIT: Wait, I just did this recently (though not on a whole body). I started with plastic wrap for the grunt work then added some broad reflections with pen tool. I'll try to dig up a link so you can decide if it was worth the trouble.
