This is my first photo post on MM;) Had the chance to shoot a very focused amateur bodybuilder last week. These are a few shots from the set. Let me know what you think.

Please feel free to check out my port and give feedback;)

Thanks Joey.

The first and third one are really good. The lighting really shows off your body. You need a good head shot though. The middle one looks like you're making a "wtf?" face.

Fix the underwear.
Other than that, your lighting for the subject is pristine.
Well done.

With short hair works well to show just one ear, pose is also very static head and body facing same direction
Seems like he likes to raise his left eyebrow
Most of the poses are not using his arms; they are just at his sides. Use a dumbbell or some other prop to give them something to do

Wish you well

Yes I noticed the inconsistency in the skin tone in the chest areas from shot to shot since he had moved to close in some images and too far in others from the the key light. I am thinking of adding a softbox lower camera right or left for next shoot in addition;)

Thank you very much for the feedback! wink

I agree that #1 and #3 are very good.
