Hey everyone! I've only really been seriously modeling for about a month (I've done a few things here and there prior but not much) and I'm really wanting to learn and grow. Can anyone critique my portfolio and maybe tell me my best and worst shots? I'm pretty new to all of this and I'm just starting but some feedback on the little bit that I've done, suggestions and ways I can improve would be really great! Thank you so much! I'd suggest ditching pretty much everything else, but since you need 4 pics, keep these two: https://www.modelmayhem.com/portfolio/pic/36228085 https://www.modelmayhem.com/portfolio/pic/36195026 Also, be careful of accidentally formatting photos when you upload them… two of those pics are sideways! Keep shooting. At 5'2 and 17 years old, you aren't likely to land a lot of paid gigs, but if you want to have fun, reach out to better photographers in your area whose work you like and see if they will work with you on a TF basis. Good luck! Jun 21 14 11:01 pm Link You kept the number of photos down in your portfolio which is good, usually there is a tendency to fill all 15 slots right away and it doesn't help. Some of the images however are really badly post-processed, your skin has been made into a melted 'Barbie™' look which doesn't help you at all. I suggest just keeping the best 4 for present. Work on getting better images from better photographers and slowly replace the images in your portfolio. Best: Worst: and Generally your biography is a bit too long winded. Few will read anything too long (in my case I spend 5-10 seconds on the portfolio and maybe 15 seconds or so on the biography). Good Luck, Buyu Jun 22 14 05:43 am Link |
