Here is an unedited image from my first beauty shoot,

https://i58.tinypic.com/119tgzk.jpg

This was done using one lighting and a black backdrop.

I would like to know if I should do the following,
- eliminate the specular lighting on the skin?
- reduce the redness on the skin?
- eliminate any shadow at nose & neck area?
How can I achieve aforementioned with in camera settings? Or what other kind of setup to achieve better results?

Will it be better if I use a different lighting or 'light is still a light' ?

How can I achieve with sharper skin texture, lips and eyes with in camera settings?

What would you do if you are to turn this image into a black and white image? Would you use a different lighting and different camera settings?

If you have any other comments/critiques, please feel free to let me know. Thank you for your time!
